Block climbing - Rock Climbing

What is block climbing? It's a form of bouldering, it consist on climbing big rocks without ropes so there are no fixed elements on the rock.
For safety climbers use crashpads that they place at the bottom so they will absorb the energy of the fall.
Block climbing is also similar to Psicoblock but in this case instead of water we use the crash pad. Therefore routes are not so high, always limited to the size of the rock.
Here you find a cool video from PETZL climbers:

wall climbing is a form of bouldering, consists of climbing big rocks without ropes, therefore there is no hardware on the rock. Wall climbing is similar to or psicobloque psicoescalada, practiced on rocky shores, but in this case instead of water as an energy absorber of the fall is used a "crashpad" a mat. The crashpad is located at the bottom where the climber and avoid injury from falling. Nevertheless, this type of climbing has a high level of risk when dealing with large rocks, for the fall can be two or three meters. There is a mode suitable for beginners, which is highly recommended horizontal bouldering or indoor climbing, always with an experienced monitor.
